  • Three great products for KTM 890 / 790 / 390 Adventure / R (2019 - 2022) - bundled together for great savings!

    Adjustable Windshield System for KTM 890 / 790 / 390 Adventure / R (2019 - 2022)

Our complete drop-in system is custom-made for your bike and includes:

    • Adjustable bracket system

    • Acrylic windshield (18" in photo)

    • Installation hardware

    • All required mounting hardware

Your bike will not require any modification and our system does not interfere with any factory accessories. You will not be able to use your stock shield, it is not compatible with the Madstad system and is too small to provide proper wind protection. We've created a wider shield to give you better wind protection around your body but without getting in the way of your hand guards at full lock. Our bracket system attaches where the factory shield mounts and allows you to dial in the best height and angle to give you smooth airflow over your helmet while still allowing you to see over the top of the shield.

All Madstad windshields are made from 3/16" (4.5 mm) thick cast acrylic.

Kickstand Shoe for KTM 790 Adventure

This aluminum kickstand shoe and extension helps prevent tip-overs and sinking into soft ground. It is much wider than the factory kickstand bottom but particularly extends outward to give your bike great support against tip-overs. It fully clears the body when in the up position and has a textured bottom surface for extra grip. The base is aluminum and has a drain hole in the main cavity. The top plate and screws are stainless steel and an installation wrench is included. This shoe is a very tight fit and won't budge once installed. Every KTM 790 should have one.  Made in the USA.

    Tail Rack for KTM 390 / 790 / 890 Adventure and Adventure R (2020 - 2022)

Rack Dimensions: Top surface area: 15" at widest, 12.5" at narrowest.

Attaching gear to the tail of your bike is hard without a wide base that has lots of hook points for bungee cords. The MadStad tail rack provides just that with a thick 3/16" aluminum structure, 13 strap holes and 78 hook points for just about anything you are trying to strap down! Our tail rack attaches either on top of the factory plate and grab handles, or in place of the factory plastic in case those grab handles are in the way. Hardware is included for both configurations and the top surface is flat so you can set oversized packs on it. Every KTM 790 Adventure should have one! Made in the USA.

Available in powder coated Black or Raw Aluminum Silver finish.

    Almost perfect

Quality in product is nice. The problem I had was well nuts wasn't enough. When I installed shield the holes weren't lined up and was afraid being pulled to line up the well nuts would pull out on the road. This may have been my bike fault. So I installed threaded rivets. Gave it a more rugged look. I've had mine since the company put them out. Performed flawless for many years, even with modification that may have been my fairing that created minor problem

Great Windshield for BMW F 750 GS

I recently purchased a '23 BMW F750 GS and knew at purchase that the stock windscreen would have to go. A couple 2hr + rides proved that fact. After researching several aftermarket and OEM options, I purchased the Madstad 16' Adjustable windscreen w/side deflectors. It is a great choice! At the lowest level (I'm 5'9"), it puts the airstream right over my head. At the highest setting and a slight inward angle, it seems to work even better, making slightly less noise. Highly recommend this set-up

“Before their install, I suffered from the constant, unmitigated buffeting at speeds above 40 mph. Now I can hear the engine, and that's a sound I like!"

“I have a stack of other windshields. I've bought over the years before I discovered the Madstad system, and none of them compare. Do yourself a favor and just buy the Madstad first!"

“Long rides at freeway speeds were the worst because of the buffeting. I installed the 18" Madstad screen, keeping it at the lowest setting, and the buffeting is gone. I now have a nice quiet air flow around my head and upper torso, regardless of speed.”
