  • Madstad Adjustable Windshield System for Harley Davidson Pan America (2020 & Up)

    What's included
Our new system is so well integrated with the bike, you will think it came from the factory that way. It is one of our most involved bracket kits (see photos) because it bolts to the steel frame and holds the instrument panel as well as the windshield.  When installed, you can actually pull your bike around by the windshield, but our patented mechanism still lets you easily adjust height and angle without tools. Only a few simple hand tools are needed to install, and you will NOT need to modify the bike in any way. This kit includes:

    • The Madstad adjustable frame-mount bracket system
    • Acrylic touring windshield
    • All required mounting hardware

    Colors & sizing
All our windshields come in three color options (clear, medium gray and dark gray), as well as multiple sizes. Here are our best guidelines for measuring to find your optimal windshield size:

    How to measure video: https://youtu.be/biFx4_vVGG4

    1) Review provided photo to determine the measuring point on the bike.

    2) Measure up from the measuring point, maintaining the angle of the forks (two wheeled vehicles, 55-60 degrees for other models).

    3) Select the windshield size that will be aligned to mouth level.

All of our adjustable brackets have at least 2" of up down range to fine tune the fit and about 15 degrees of angle adjustment used to dial in clean air.

    Transform your ride
Get long-range touring comfort with a multi-adjustable rock-solid windshield system. Madstad patented adjustable system replaces the plastic factory windshield mount and plastic housing with a new heavy stainless steel structure with independent height and angle adjustment. Our windshield is also thicker and larger for a wider pocket of comfort with no vibration and optically-clear with no distortion.

    Riding is believing
Independent height and angle adjustment means smooth airflow placed exactly where you need it. With our system, you should be looking comfortably over the shield at highway speeds rather than through it, even with your visor open. On gravel or bumpy roads, our all-metal system keeps the 3/16" thick windshield rigid and strong.

    Best dang windshield ever

I had seen a few Madstad windshields here and there. I had heard that they were really good too. But, I had never experienced one. The stock windshield was absolutely worthless on both high and low mounting points. I replaced it with another windshield (unnamed) and it was not much better but it was better looking and much more solid. So, I decided to give a Madstad a try on my 2021 KTM 890 Adventure. I watched
a Madstad Youtube video of how to determine the right size/height to purchase for me. Turned out it was spot on for me. The installation was super simple to do as the installation documentation was exceptional and simple. I set it up to the lowest position and the furthest back position after the installation was finished. Something that surprised me was the fit to my bike. I have Bark Busters on my handlebars and there was plenty of clearance and no contact with the windshield. My first ride out on it was to work the next morning and what a difference there was. I have not done any highway/long distance time with it yet but I am sure with what I have experienced so far, it should be a game changer.

    1250GS Madstad Windshield

This is the second Madstad windshield system & I am so happy with it. Went through multiple shields on the Africa Twin before finding these. As soon as I got the GS I was not happy with either the stock or the taller GS windshield. I knew these would work & I wasn't disappointed. Moves the air well & have lots of visibility over the top. No buffeting & would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a system that can be fine tuned in so many ways.

    Madstad Adjustable Windshield

Love the shield, so much better than the Clockworks that was on it. Only complaint is that I wish it was an inch lower, I measured per the instructions but it came out a little high even in its lowest setting.

“Before their install, I suffered from the constant, unmitigated buffeting at speeds above 40 mph. Now I can hear the engine, and that's a sound I like!"

“I have a stack of other windshields. I've bought over the years before I discovered the Madstad system, and none of them compare. Do yourself a favor and just buy the Madstad first!"

“Long rides at freeway speeds were the worst because of the buffeting. I installed the 18" Madstad screen, keeping it at the lowest setting, and the buffeting is gone. I now have a nice quiet air flow around my head and upper torso, regardless of speed.”
